Sunday 14th

30th anniversary of the death of the Servant of God, Archbishop Oscar Romero, to be marked at 10:30am Mass. A talk on the Archbishop follows at 12:15pm in the Cathedral Social Centre; all are welcome.

 

Wednesday 17th

Ash Wednesday, start of the season of Lent

Mass at 12:15pm, 7:30pm. Ashes will be distributed at both Masses.

 

Friday 19th

Stations of the Cross, 7pm

Exposition and Meditation on the Passion (on the role of St Peter), 7:45pm

Sung Compline and Benediction, 8:15pm

 

Saturday 20th

Rite of Election, 2pm

For those from around the Lancaster Diocese who are preparing to be received into the Church at Easter. This event is organised by the Diocesan Education Service.

First Sunday of Lent
