Can you help us?

Lancaster Cathedral needs your help!

The Cathedral relies on the goodwill of many volunteer helpers and people who donate money to support our work. There are many ways for people - near and far - to support the work of the Cathedral:

Volunteer Your Time

Local volunteers can help in the parish and at diocesan events and concerts. People further away can help by promoting events at the Cathedral or simply by spreading the word! Could you give a little time? Contact us to find out more.

Join the Friends of the Cathedral

The Friends of the Cathedral was founded in 2006 in order to raise money for the maintenance of the Cathedral. Click here to find out more.

Make a donation online by credit or debit card

You can donate money by clicking on the ‘donate’ button at the top right of this page. It costs over £400 per day to run the Cathedral, with additional money needed to help with larger maintenance programmes. Any donation - however small or large - is gratefully accepted. Donations are made via Paypal, a secure payment website.
